Remembering Wyatt Dale Water Safety

A Texoma family that suffered a heartbreaking loss continues to educate others about water safety, in an attempt to prevent other families from suffering such a tragedy.

The day of fun in the sun on the square in Graham was all about remembering Wyatt Terasas, who was just 3-years-old when he drowned at Possum Kingdom Lake in 2013.
His family is now on a mission to save lives one jacket at a time.

They raise funds and collect donations so they can pay for swimming lessons, safety programs, and life jackets.

"We've done events every year, trying to reach families just to make sure they know the importance of wearing a life jacket," Wyatt's Nana Tracey Terasas said.

Since they started the program they've given away more than 2000 life jackets.
