The Jefferson County town was on a mandatory boil order since July 10th after water samples tested positive for E.Coli. But, Ryan officials say at 1:40 Tuesday afternoon, the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Equality lifted the boil order.
Last week, the DEQ was going to lift the boil order before a major water break caused the town to lose a majority of its water. The water main was fixed on Saturday morning and the DEQ says Ryan's water is now safe to use without boiling.
