While you're doing your holiday shopping the Salvation Army hopes you will by purchase some extra gifts so some children in need will have presents on Christmas.
The Salvation Army's Angel Tree is now available inside Sikes Senter Mall and four other Wichita Falls businesses.
Each tag has the name and gift information of a child who Salvation Army officials say without your help would not have a merry Christmas.
Officials with the non-profit organization say this year there are several hundred more names on the Angel Trees to select.

"We usually have capped off at 300 families but this year we knew that other agencies in the past that were doing it weren't gonna help this year.  So, during our one week registration back in October I decided there would be no cap during that week so we're over 367 families this year," says Sgt. David Swyers, commander of the Salvation Army.

Sgt. Swyers says that amounts to 908 children.
The Salvation Army has an Angel Tree inside five Wichita Falls businesses.
They are Sikes Senter Mall, across from Christopher & Banks clothing store, Shoe Carnival on Call Field Road, and all three Walmarts in town.
The last day to select a name is December 11th.
And coordinators ask that you return the unwrapped gifts to the Salvation Army by Tuesday, December 17th.
