For the fourth year, Santa and his helpers from the Kiwanis Club provided presents and shoes to students at three Wichita Falls schools.
Students at Sam Houston Elementary School were part of the surprise.
In all, 1,400 students will be wearing new shoes in the new year.
Sherri Hicks of the Kiwanis Club explained, "The poverty level in Wichita Falls is pretty high and that's what we feel we can do to help these children. It's a great year to be able to do it and it's just an honor to do it."
All the money used to purchase the presents came from the Kiwanis Club's Annual Pancake Festival.
