Investigators spent Monday night gathering information to determine what caused a very bad car accident on Highway 79.
It happened around 7:40 p.m. about five miles south of Archer City. DPS Sgt. Dan Buesing said it was a single car accident and that two people were ejected and two others were trapped inside the vehicle. Air Evac responded out of Wichita Falls and at least two ambulances responded as well.
A KFDX photojournalist on scene said it appeared the vehicle may had rolled on the highway before ending up in the ditch.
Highway 79 was shut down to traffic for about an hour.
