Two people are behind bars Tuesday afternoon after police said they may have been involved in a shooting in a Wichita Falls neighborhood Monday night.

Police said the exchange of gun fire happened on the corner of 10th and Polk about 7 Monday night. Witnesses said a motorcycle was traveling north on Polk when a maroon Honda pulled up to the intersection.

Authorities said the witnesses then told officers the motorcyclist sped off, stopped in an alley behind a nearby laundromat and hid behind a dumpster. Police said the witness saw the driver of the Honda pull up next to the alley, fire two shots and then speed away.

After the car drove away, the motorcyclist ran out of the alley, firing several shots at the car before leaving the scene.

Tuesday morning, Police said they found a vehicle matching the description of the Honda and took two people into custody on an outstanding warrant and possession of marijuana.
