Son, Four Other Teens in Custody in Lawton Double Homicide

- Lawton police say five teens have been arrested in a double homicide of a father and son, including the 18 year old son who claims he chased away the two masked men who broke into his families home and killed his father and brother.

Lawton police say they are confident that 18 year old Thorsten Gunter Rushing is the individual who shot and killed his 49 year old father Uwe Rushing and his 13 year old brother Stefan.

Police also arrested 19-year-old Ethan Thompson, 19-year-old Cody Davis, 18-year-old Timothy Delahoy, and 17-year-old Wesley Bankston.

Police say all the teens were involved in planning the murders, and assisting before and after the murders.

The shooting happened last week at a home in 1100 block of East Columbia.

Police say Thorsten Rushing claimed he was in the living room watching television with his brother and father when two masked men broke in through the back door and shot and killed Uwe and Stefan.

Thorsten says he was able to grab a shotgun and scare the shooters away.

But after further investigation, police say the story is false and that they believe Thorsten was the shooter. No motive has been released and police say this incident remains under investigation.
