A former school clerk in Stephens County accused of stealing school funds to pay for a Ford Mustang, vet bills for her pets, and tuition for her son, pleads guilty to 14 counts of embezzlement.

46 year old Kimberly Dawn Brown was charged with stealing more than $200,000 over a 5-year period from the Bray-Doyle School District where she worked as financial secretary.

Authorities say the funds came from the school employees' Christmas account.

She received a 30-year sentence with all but 5 years suspended.

She also must pay a fine of $250 on each of the 14 counts, and after serving the 5 years, must pay monthly restitution until she repays $255,000.
