Texomans rocked out to the music of Styx Sunday.

The classic rock band was brought in by the MPEC and the concert was held at Memorial Auditorium.

MPEC Executive Director, Bob Sullivan says they sold almost 15- hundred tickets, and the auditorium seats 25- hundred people.

Sullivan says attendance was a little lower than they expected, but overall, they're happy with the numbers.

The concert also raised money for the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.

A signed guitar was raffled off through the non- profit, Rock to the Rescue, that was actually started by the band.

The food bank received a little over one thousand dollars through the raffle.
