UPDATE: Wichita Falls PD is wrapping things up with the standoff. Families are allowed to move about. Suspect Andrew Reynolds, 24, is charged with aggravated robbery.

Wichita Falls Police say a report of an attempted aggravated robbery at the Walgreens on 9th and Brook came in around 7:30 am.

When the officer who made the report left the scene, he saw someone that matched the description. The subject saw the officer and ran, making his way to the Harmony Apartments where he is now barricaded. Police still believe him to be armed.

A resident says the subject ran by him and said he looked like a young white male believed to be in his early 20's.

Wichita Falls Police have barricaded an individual they say is possibly armed.

Police are asking residents to avoid the 1700 block of 10th street until further notice.
