A 24 year-old Lawton woman pleads guilty to the death of her young son and to the abuse of her daughter in 2011.
Ashley Nicole Wright pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of 2nd degree murder for the beating death of her 20 month-old son and the beating of her 2 year-old daughter.
Police say Wright first told them her daughter hit her son with a hammer, then later admitted she hit both of them with her fists.  They also said she told them she would sometimes blow marijuana smoke in their faces when she wanted them to leave her alone.
Wright received a 40 year sentence with 10 years suspended on the murder charge and 15 years for child abuse, to run concurrent with the murder sentence.
