The investigation into what exactly caused a Sheppard Air Force Base T-38 jet to crash early Friday morning is already underway.
Sheppard officials say their internal investigation board is already on site.
They're looking at debris from the plane to see if that will give them any information.
Officials say that group will also look at data from their radar tapes from air traffic control and they'll look at the history of that particular plane to see if there were any problems in the past.
Sheppard's investigation should take about 30 days.
Then an external investigation board, mostly made up of investigators from outside Sheppard, will go through their full safety investigation to figure out what happened.
