Texoma retailers are gearing up for one of their busiest weekends of the year: tax free weekend.
The shopping event kicks off in Oklahoma on Friday, and will continue through Sunday. Shoes, clothes and some athletic apparel under 100 dollars can be purchased tax free.
Texas tax free weekend is coming up August 8th through the 10th. Most clothes and shoes that cost less than 100 dollars will be exempt from state and local sales taxes.
Backpacks and school supplies are also included on the Texas tax free list.
