The tournament runs through Thursday with more than 300 golfers ranging in age from 10 to 18.
The drought has made it hard to keep the courses in great condition, but overall organizers are happy with the course conditions.
"They just been able to water the greens and the fairways mainly, this last rain that we got here a few weeks ago obviously helped, so thank you Skip, it has helped clean up the fairways a lot," Richard Hall, President of Texas Oklahoma Junior Golf.
