Family and friends are mourning the loss of a brave Texoma boy born with a rare heart condition.

Three-year-old Corbin Cohn passed away Wednesday night.

He suffered from Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a congenital heart condition in which parts of the heart do no develop completely.

At just three-years-old, he had already endured three open heart surgeries.

About a week and a half ago, he became an honorary deputy for the Wichita County Sheriff's Office force.

Funeral services for Corbin are pending.
