A 57 year-old Petrolia man dies in a railroad switching yard accident in Amarillo.
Amarillo Police say long-time Burlington Northern Santa Fe worker, Tommy Touvell, died yesterday after being struck by a slow-moving rail maintenance car.  Investigators say Touvell was helping move a leaking car off the tracks for repairs when the maintenance car struck him and knocked him under the train.  They believe he died instantly.
Police say the driver of the maintenance car did not see him and there could have been miscommunication between the repair crew and driver of that car.
