IronE Singleton, also known as "T-Dog" in the Emmy-winning show "The Walking Dead," will be the emcee of this weekend's Zombie Crawl.
He'll also spend time with area kids who are devoting their Saturdays to giving back through Teens Make a Difference day.
IronE grew up on the violent, drug-infested streets of Atlanta, where he says the struggle to survive was a battle he fought daily.
"I have an inspirational message for the kids about truth and love and hope and turning trials and tribulations into triumph," he says.
The annual day of volunteering is from 9 am until noon Saturday.
IronE will be speaking to volunteers after they've completed their service projects.
That will take place from noon until 1 pm at the Central Boys and Girls Club.
Then IronE will emcee Downtown Wichita Falls Development's Zombie Crawl.
Gates open at 4:30 pm.
The crawl kicks off at 6:30, with the zombie chase and 5K at dusk.
