Police make a third arrest in a forgery case revolving around Craigslist. 32 year old Laura Lovejoy is charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, forgery.

Officers say she was part of a group using the popular classified site to sell checks stolen from a Wichita Falls business. They say the craigslist post stated where the checks could be passed without identification, and claimed that thousands of dollars had already been cleared. As many as 12 other people could be facing charges.

30 year old Miranda Hammond and 36 year old Temetra Mallett are also charged. An arrest affidavit states Mallett and an accomplice stole blank checks from Red River Express LLC, a company the two had worked for, then sold the checks on Craigslist for 100 dollars a piece. Police say Mallett drove people to cash the checks and would keep some of the money.
