Third West Nile Virus Case in Mosquito Confirmed in W.F.

The number of positive West Nile cases in mosquitoes is on the rise in Wichita Falls.

City vector control officials say the infected mosquitoes were caught last week in traps that were on the north side of town.

And test results returned from Austin late yesterday.

This brings the number of positive West Nile cases in mosquitoes this year in Wichita Falls to three.

The number of positive human cases in the city this year remains at one.
