The countdown is on for kids to head back to class.
And today hundred of students got school supplies and much more, all free of charge.
Although a line formed for this event around six this morning at McNiel Jr. High, several hours later there were still droves of people waiting for to be helped.
So, what did kids get?
For one they got to choose their own backpacks.
But they also got on-site dental screenings, immunizations, and physical exams.
And parents say they're thankful for having this one-stop, back-to-school shop.
"It means a whole lot because they wouldn't have there supplies so it helps a lot. So, with the free supplies and everything," said Deonna Nelson, a Wichita Falls Resident.
Project back to school was a collaboration between local business, charities and organizations which coordinators say nearly 3 thousand people attended.
