Three People Accused of Skipping Their Bill at IHOP are Arrested

Three people who allegedly tried to skip paying their restaurant tab now face aggravated robbery charges after a reported confrontation in the parking lot with the manager.

Justin and Jennifer Fields and Crystal Bordman are released from jail on $20-thousand dollar bonds.

According to the affidavit the manager and a waitress of the IHOP on Broad said the three ordered  about $55 worth of food, then left without paying.

The manager said he went outside and told them to pay and they refused and tried to drive off in a Jeep Cherokee. The manager  placed himself in front of the vehicle and he and the waitress told police he had to jump out of the way of the Jeep as Justin Fields drove off.

The license tag number led police to a house on Cumberland and the three suspects there were questioned.

Police say Jennifer Fields refused to answer questions but Justin Fields and Bordman admitted leaving without paying,  but denied  almost hitting the manager.
