When it first opened last month there were some scheduling issues that needed to be addressed. People were showing up not realizing the center was closed.
Recently the city has posted signs to make the hours and bus schedule more clear.
They have also added a pay phone that will soon have numbers you can call for questions or help. Benches have been ordered so customers will have a place to sit while they wait for a bus if the building is closed.
“When we first opened, we did a very poor job of working with our customers who were going to be using the inner city bus lines,” says Wichita Falls Director of Aviation, Traffic & Transportation John Burrus.
Permanent schedule signs should be in place by Wednesday.
