Trial for Man Charged with Oklahoma Teen's Death Moved to April

- Another Stephens County murder case had been on the January trial docket also, but last month the district attorney announced it would be on the April docket.

22-year-old Miles Bench is charged with the first degree murder of 16 year old Velma High School sophomore Braylee Henry.

A not guilty plea was entered by the judge for Bench in September.

Stephens County District Attorney Jason Hicks filed paper work to pursue the death penalty for Bench, if he is convicted.

Police say on June 6th, 2012 Braylee had gone to the convenience store where Bench worked and he attacked her.

Her body was found in a field near Bench's grandparents' home.

The autopsy revealed she died from blunt force trauma to the head.
