Trial of a Man Accused of Sexually Abusing Two Girls is Underway

An alleged victim and her sister took the stand today in the trial of a man accused of sexual abusing two young girls in 89th District Court.

Kurley Johnson is jailed on three counts of indecency with a child by contact, his bonds total $300,000.

One of the victims said Johnson touched her on her private part while she was sitting on his lap counting play money when she, her sister and two friends where playing Monopoly at her friend's home.

She said several seconds after she told Johnson she had to go to the bathroom but instead went to her friend's room to call her mom.

She said she and her sister immediately ran home.

The alleged victim described Johnson as "friendly and nice" and said he had kissed her on the forehead.

The alleged victims took the stand and said she knew what had happened to her sister when they left the home.

The trial will continue Tuesday morning.
