Trial is pushed back for the suspect police say shot a man while he was jogging in Duncan last August.

Authorities say Australian baseball player Chris Lane was gunned down August 16 of last year.

They say 22-year-old Lane, who played baseball at East Central University in Ada, OK, was fatally shot when he was in Duncan visiting his girlfriend.

The autopsy shows Lane died when a single bullet pierced his upper body.

Chancey Luna is charged with first-degree murder in Lane's death.

He was expected to go to trial later this month.

That date has now been pushed back to April of next year.

Three others are also charged in Lane's death.

They are Michael Jones, who's also charged with first-degree murder, and Oddesse Barnes, who's accused of concealing the gun used to kill Lane.

The fourth suspect is James Edwards.

Edwards says he was in the car, with Luna and Jones, rolling a joint of marijuana when Luna shot Lane.

Prosecutors say his testimony will be used against the other three in their trials so he can go to trail on the lesser charge of accessory after the fact.
