Two Arrested in Stolen Guns Case

- Wichita Falls police say they've made two arrests in a stolen guns case they started investigating at a local business seven months ago.

In August, officers were called to Skinner's Motors in the 2300 block of Jacksboro Highway to investigate a stolen guns and stolen property case.

They say they found 34 weapons located in a vehicle there plus assorted ammunition, gun cases, and other gun-related items.

Of those weapons, police say 10 were stolen and were in James Skinner's possession.

An arrest affidavit said he told police that he often buys, sells, and trades guns and Linda Green sold him some of the guns he had.

Officers say Green had stolen several guns from her boyfriend's home while he was incarcerated for unrelated charges.

Both Skinner and Green are charged with theft of a firearm.

Skinner has bonded out of the Wichita County Jail while Green remains behind bars on bonds totaling more than $125,000.
