Two prisoners, one of which is awaiting trial on a capitol murder charge, escaped from Hopkins County Jail today.
Officials say 44-year-old Brian Allen Tucker of Sulphur Springs and 39-year-old John Marlin King of Cumby made their escape by running through a female recreation yard and squeezing through a gate.
Officials found their prison clothing near railroad tracks behind the sheriff's office. According to officials, the two men are most likely hiding out in a wooded area east of the jail. Nine schools in Sulpher Springs are now on lock down.
Tucker is on a $1 Million bond charged with capitol murder. King is being held on an evading arrest charge.
