Two Wichita Falls Houses Damaged in Morning Fire

Two families were displaced and two houses damaged after an early morning fire.

Crews were first called to the 2800 block of Sherman Road around 3:30 Wednesday morning. Investigators say the fire started in a bedroom, in a house on Sherman. That home, and a home on Lafayette have a connecting garage.

There's still no word on what could have sparked the fire, but fire officials say no one was injured.

The Red Cross is assisting one family, and fire officials say the other family had somewhere to go.
