Two Women Arrested After Running From Police and Jumping out of Moving Car

Two women are in custody after police say the driver lead them on a chase before jumping from the moving car saying to the occupants, she was not going back to prison.

It started at around 12:45 this afternoon in Wichita Falls near Pennsylvania and Alabama.

A sergeant with the WFPD Says those occupants were possibly throwing drugs out the windows too.  Soon after that the sergeant says a male in the car jumped out when the driver slowed down on Pennsylvania for a dip in a road, then, at Miami and Grant the two females jumped out of the moving car as well.

The passenger was caught right away. The the driver was found about 20 minutes later hiding in a shed on Hollywood.

After jumping out of the moving car, the vehicle sideswiped a parked car before stopping about a block away. The sergeant says the male who jumped out probably will not be charged.

The driver, who underwent treatment for injuries sustained in her jump, will be charged with evading and the other female with evading and drugs.

The sergeant says police tried to pull the car over after it left a known drug house and that the driver had a warrant out for her arrest for parole violation.
