UPDATE: 30 Days More Testing Required for Wichita Falls Reuse Project

-
Wichita Falls water users will have to wait a little longer to get some extra water into their supply.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality says the water from the emergency reuse project needs to be retested.

Friday the city and the TCEQ both released statements on the water report and city officials confirmed Saturday that they will retest the water for 30 days and present a new report to the TCEQ.

City officials say they hope to start the new tests in a few weeks.
