Update: Police Find Woman in Possible Kidnapping Attempt


A woman is located by police after a possible kidnapping attempt.

Police say sometime after 10 o'clock last night a man covered in blood ran to a house on the 3000 block of Saxet Street screaming for help. The man told police three men who he did not know beat him up, and took the woman with them.

He was taken to United Regional. Police say his injuries were minor.

The woman was later found in the 2700 block of old Iowa Park Road. Officials say she was also assaulted, and taken to the hospital by private vehicle.

No arrests have been made at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY: Wichita Falls police are investigating a possible kidnapping at a Hirschi High School parking lot late last night.
Police said sometime after 10 p.m. Tuesday, a bloodied man ran to a house on the 3000 block of Saxet St. and pounded on the door while screaming for help.
They said the man told them he was in a truck at the school parking lot with a female driver when at least one person beat him up and took the female. He was taken to United Regional with minor injuries.

Right now there is no word on whether or not the female was actually kidnapped. Police said they're still working to get more information.

Police have not issued any warnings for the public to be on guard. We have made calls to the department for any updates available.
