Preliminary information from Texas A&M is telling students to evacuate the campus.
A "Code Maroon" message issued by the university says a bomb threat was received for campus in general around 11:34 a.m.
The message tells students, faculty, and staff to evacuate the campus in College Station by foot instead of using a vehicle.
People on campus have been told to proceed north to Church St. or south to Anderson St. to get off campus.
Classes have been canceled for the rest of the day.
