UPDATED: Shooting in Lawton Leaves One Man Dead

UPDATE:


Lawton Police Department PIO Capt. Craig Akard says the suspects in the Saturday shooting death of a Lawton man are described as three black males, one wearing a green shirt and the other two wearing red tops.


Akard says the suspects reportedly left the scene in a black or dark-colored SUV with a white female driver.


The victim was transported to the Medical Examiner's officer in Oklahoma City for an autopsy.


At this time, police say they're still processing the scene of the crime and searching for suspects.

Lawton police are looking for suspects after a man was found lying dead lying on the porch of a home.


According to police, at 6:26 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of SW Evans for reports of a gunshot victim.


When they got there, officers say they found Lavonte Jackson dead of an apparent gunshot wound.


Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.


Investigators are conducting interviews and searching for suspects.
