Criminal defense attorneys across the state honored this country's founders by reading the Declaration of Independence.
In Wichita Falls, five criminal defense lawyers read the 25 paragraph document this morning on the steps of the Wichita County Courthouse.
It's the first time Wichita Falls attorney's have taken part in the reading, which was first organized in Houston three years ago.
The reading was also done today in more than 50 Texas counties, Washington, D.C., and seven other states.
