A 20 year old Vernon woman is jailed on a robbery charge after security officers at a Wichita Falls Walmart say she kicked them in the groin when they tried to stop her from leaving without paying for merchandise.

Karli Mae Mitchell was jailed on $30,000 bond.

She was arrested Saturday at the Walmart on Central Freeway.

Loss prevention officers told police they saw her take a hooded sweatshirt off a hangar, rip the tag off and put it on and walk out.

The officers say they stopped her outside and tried to escort her back in, and she kicked both officers in the groin two times each.

One officer also suffered an injured finger which police say was swollen and stiff.

Police say they also found two DVD sets under the sweat shirt.
