Two people are killed in a fiery crash Thursday afternoon on Highway 277 outside of Seymour.
DPS Trooper Tony Fulton says two semis were traveling westbound on Highway 277 about 15 miles south of Seymour near Bomarton, when a one-ton pickup side-swiped a semi and then crashed into the second semi head-on.
Fulton says the driver of the pickup, 56-year-old Jerry Jones of Noble, Oklahoma, and the driver of the tanker, 65-year-old Kermith Johnson of Abilene were killed in the crash. Their bodies were transported to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy.
Fulton says the tanker was carrying lube oil which ignited.
Fulton says the driver of the first semi struck struck was not injured.
