Victims Identified in Apparent Murder Suicide on Bluff Street

Wichita Falls police are investigating a possible murder, suicide that left two people dead.

It happened just after 11 p.m. Thursday in a home on the 1600 block of Bluff.

Officials say when officers arrived to the scene, they discovered 30-year-old Amanda Pardo in the street suffering from a single gunshot wound. It is believed that she was shot by 44-year-old Marcos Pardo as she was leaving the residence.

Marcos was later discovered dead inside the home with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Marcos and Amanda were married, but described as estranged.

Amanda was immediately transported to United Regional where she was pronounced dead at about 11:33 PM.

This is the first homicide of 2014 for Wichita Falls.
