Water Haulers Help Texoma Girl with Brain Defect

One of Wichita Falls most precious resources was given away Saturday for a good cause.

Water haulers could fill up as much water as they wanted from a local well, for just making a donation to Donniesha Washington.

Washington was diagnosed with a brain defect Chiari Malformation.

She's already had three brain surgeries and may need another soon.

So to help with medical costs, Mark Steel let haulers collect from his wells if they donated to Donniesha.

Donniesha's mom says she is very thankful for all the support.

“It feels good because the kind of God I serve because he is a God that will be your helping and your present help in your time of need and all the people that came out, the people that made donations, you know whoever there are, god knows who they are, I thank um,” says Donniesha's Mom Roslyn Griffin.

If you would like to help the family you can donate by going to American National Bank on Midwestern Parkway and ask to donate to Roslyn Griffin, or make a donation to Church of the Living God in Roslyn's name.
