And Wichita County election officials say, just like in the primary election, many voters are heading to the polls early.
As of yesterday, officials say more than 1,600 voters have cast their early ballots in the first two days.
And officials say 355 Burkburnett voters have gotten to the polls since the two republican candidates in the runoff for Wichita County Commissioner Precinct 2, are from Burk.
There are some state democratic runoffs on the ballot, but most of the attention, money, and the mud, is centered in the republican state races.
Early voting ends Friday and can be done from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Wichita County Courthouse, Chamber of Commerce in Burk and Tax Office in Iowa Park; in Electra at the Precinct 4 building from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and also from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Sikes Senter Mall and Home Depot.
Election day is Tuesday, so be sure to tune in to KFDX-- your local election headquarters.
