The 27th annual Western Swing Music Festival has music fans on their feet at the MPEC.

The festival brings in western swing acts from across the country and features big names like Dave Alexander and His Big Texas Swing Band, Bobby Flores and the Yellow Rose Band and Country Legend Mel Tillis.

The festival combines classic western swing with modern twist and is a great place to shop for all types of western wear and accessories.

Organizers say the festival is great for Wichita Falls' bottom line because most of it's guests are from out of town.

“I have two couples from England that came over this year, people are here from Canada, New Mexico, and Washington, all over the United States,” says Gloria Miers, Show Producer.

The concert continues Saturday night with Bo Posey and a Horse with No Name Band followed by Bobby Flores and the Yellow Rose Band.
