A bus, owned by a national cable network rolled into Wichita Falls to provide an educational experience for some high school students.

The C-SPAN bus opened its door Wednesday morning at Wichita Falls High School so juniors and seniors could climb aboard.

Inside, they learned about the C-SPAN's more than 200,000 hours of online educational content that students and schools can access 24-hours a day.

Student says learning about c-span was an eye-opener.

"I didn't really know what is was when I first came out here but I think I learned a lot by hearing him talk and knowing about the website now and their court hearings and other governments," says Aaron Puenta, a senior at Wichita Falls High School.

Wichita Falls Mayor Glenn Barham was also on the bus talking with students about local governmental issues.

The C-SPAN visited Midwestern State University before rolling out of town.
