WF Man Sentenced to 97 Months In Federal Prison

A Wichita Falls man arrested during a large scale drug sting operation last year will spend the next 97 months behind bars in a federal prison.

45- year- old Dewey Wells pleaded guilty for his role in a major methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. According to court documents, Wells admitted that between November 2011 and September 2012, he received and distributed meth.

To date, 36- of the 39- defendants charged in the conspiracy have entered guilty pleas... And a total of 28- defendants have been sentenced. The case against three defendants has not yet been resolved.
