Results are in on water from a test well for the first community garden in Wichita Falls and officials say it's good!
Earlier this week crews drilled a test well at the Smith Street Community Garden, which is across the street from the Martin Luther King Center.
A ribbon cutting was held for the garden in November despite Stage 4 water restriction being in effect.
But MLK officials say now that they know the water is adequate garden board members will meet next month to discuss how the water will be distributed to plots and when the garden will open.
