WF Towing Provider arrested for DWI/weapons charge

WICHITA FALLS - Six months after a local entrepreneur was sued by a former employee for sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, he's now in trouble with the law.

Jody Wade, of Jody Wade Enterprises, was arrested this afternoon near his business and is now charged with DWI and unlawful carrying of a weapon.

Several viewers sent us photos of his arrest Thursday afternoon, by a DPS trooper.

As of Thursday night late, bond had not been set and Wade remained in the Wichita County Jail.

Wade's company handles all towing and impounding for the city of Wichita Falls.

A check of archives shows in 2013 Wichita Falls city councilors decided the city's towing and impound services would be handled by just his company.

It was a five year deal and as part of the agreement, the city also got additional storage space for impounded cars and other space the police department planned to use to house evidence.
