The Wichita Falls Area Food Bank is preparing for a packed house this weekend when it opens it's freezer for a colossal food giveaway.
The food bank's freezer is full of boxed produce, orange juice, ice cream and other items.
And officials will give it all away to anyone who meets the government assistance income guidelines.

"We actually have a lot of frozen meat that is stored off site and we need that meat here.  It's a little more difficult to get meat.  We definitely want that in time for the Fall and in time for the holidays, as well.  So we have excess right now from USDA so we are going to give that out," says Betsi Lujan, marketing and development director at the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.

Lujan says that food will be distributed in 20 pound boxes and that contain produce and frozen foods.
The Colossal Food Giveaway, as it's being called, is Saturday at the food bank on Midwestern Parkway.
It starts at 9 a.m. and ends when everything is gone.
Again, it is for anyone who meets the government assistance income guidelines.
