Wichita Falls school officials today received information on the facility study from consultants and have now assigned a level of importance to areas assessed.
Earlier this year, consultants examined all schools in the district so they can put together a master plan on how well the schools will hold up over the next 10 years.
Consultants will return in two weeks with the information.
"We'll say, here's the score for every building in the district. Here's the average scores for the buildings in the district. Here's what the capacity of each building are. Here's what the current utilization is. So you see all of that cause that's then what we base all of the recommendations on," says MGT Consultant Ed Humble.
Of four areas assessed by consultants, board members approved allowing the main focus of the study to center around the physical condition of the buildings followed by the appropriate level of each school's educational space for programs.
