The WFISD has revealed just how well the district did this year in the STAAR exam. Superintendent Dr. John Frossard said in a statement about the results, "In order to achieve at a higher level as a school district, we must analyze, identify and address gaps in our new curriculum. We are proud of our gains in sixth, seventh and eighth grade mathematics. Nevertheless, we still have a lot of work to do. This is especially true in fifth and eighth grade science and eighth grade social studies. Once our curriculum is fully aligned with the state assessments, we should see further improvements in student performance."
