WFPD Hopes to Raise Awareness of Deadly 'Choking Game'

Police say a dangerous and deadly game is becoming the hype among teens who see it as a fun and quick way to get high without drugs or alcohol.

The choking game claims thousands of victims, sometimes in death and many times with permanent brain damage.

Wichita Falls police are offering a free seminar to educate parents about the risk of this activity. It will be presented by Officer Jeff Hughes at the Public Safety Training Center at 710 Flood, Thursday night at 6:30.
