WICHITA FALLS - The Wichita County Sheriff's Posse is once again helping a public servant.
John Little has been the Chief Investigator with the District Attorney's Office for the last 24 years and he is battling pancreatic cancer.
Little said when the posse approached him about the benefit lunch. He said he was shy about it, but seeing everybody come out for him was overwhelming.
"Got good people, we got a good family, good friends," said Little. "Law enforcement is the best organization in any county, EMS and all that. It's a brotherhood, so i really appreciate what they're doing."
All the proceeds will go to Little and his fight against cancer.
