After a two month spike in flu cases and one flu death, Wichita County health officials say the number of flu cases is on the decline.
In November and December, health officials say the number of people going to emergency rooms, doctors offices and clinics with the flu rose.
And earlier this month health officials say a 45 year old man, who was relatively healthy, died from complications related to the flu.
To stay healthy, many rushed to get a flu shot.
At Midwestern State University, officials say nurses at the campus clinic gave more than 400 shots and ran out of vaccine but now MSU officials say more shots are available.
That's also the case at area doctor's offices, pharmacies, clinics and county health departments.
